Uruguay Relocation Consult (50-min)
If you are thinking of visiting or moving to Uruguay, Karen is an invaluable resource and a consultation with her is a must. My husband and I did a 50 min consult (extended it because she really got us thinking) and I felt it gave us such important direction for a great scouting trip we’re planning soon. Not only was there so much information on the call, but Karen gave us even more in a follow up email. All this information gives us so much to check out on our scouting trip. We gave some information to Karen ahead of the call based on some of our specific criteria in the form of a fantastic short questionnaire she had us fill out. What she did best was got us thinking about what the tradeoff would be for living in a more remote area for the wide open spaces and gorgeous views, or living closer to the beach in closer proximity to neighbors with better access to community and daily needs/wants. I was on the fence of whether we should do the 180 min or the 50 min. I can start to zone out if there’s too much information and I had the feeling if we did the 50 min and took some time with the information, then we could do another 50 min later if we had more questions. Karen was able to add 30 min to our call, and it was just right. (Karen, maybe offer a 90 min option? ). We’ve been researching Uruguay for at least 5 years and I’m so glad we finally booked a consultation with Karen!

I have not visited Uruguay but have travelled widely and have done due diligence in learning all I could about the country. I purchased and read both of her guides on traveling to Uruguay and Montevideo. Explored the Guruguay website, subscribed for her insightful emails and watched her interviews. She is very knowledgeable and has lived in Uruguay for an extended period of time. She is your “ boots on the ground” information person.
In preparation for the consultation you need to complete a comprehensive questionnaire. You need to share your expectations and your experiences as they relate to your possible move to Uruguay.
