Great books and web guides – I have one question that I seem to be unable to answer. Can I get a ferry to and from Colonia from Montevideo for a day trip. I’m sure you say you can but Colonial free is don’t seem to offer it on their site?
Hi Shaun, there is no ferry from Montevideo to Colonia. That part is done by bus. Learn more about taking the ferry from Argentina to or from Uruguay. — Karen
I have read both guides- cover to cover and the only reference to traveling with pets is the 30-day health check. How difficult is it to travel with my 6 lb companion?
I’m planning my visit late February. Eager for your reply

Hi Karen,
Greetings from Sarasota, Florida and I will not start on our Governor. As usual, it sometimes takes a smaller country to come up with the best ideas. What? The census “raffle” of free electric service for a year. Kudos to all of you and best wishes.
Aww. Thanks for writing, Joseph. I appreciate your kind words — Karen
