The Tekoa team is clever, competent and cheerful! My 16 year old son and I asked for a tour of La Colonia and transport and a tour from La Colonia to Montevideo on very short notice. We made the most of our two-day visit by using Tekoa to take care of both the transport and guiding, with a great price to quality ratio. We learned more about Uruguay from our Tekoa tour than we could by taking a semester long class! Along the way we were fed acres of homemade cheese by Augustine Battellini, the Cheese Architect of Colonia Valdense; toured the Church-like winery at Bodega Bouza; and bought homemade chocolates in Nuevo Helvecia which retains a Swiss village character.
We used Tekoa Tours during our trip to Uruguay and they were fantastic! Fatima, our tour guide, and Alexander, our driver, were generous with their time and they couldn’t do enough to help us. They were so easy to get to know, we felt like we’ve known them for years.
