Take in the glamour of Punta del Este, southern South America’s most famous beach resort from a bike
The Punta peninsula tour The peninsula is packed with the most emblematic of Punta during summertime – the glamour, the famous “hand” sculpture rising from the sand, the marina where Argentine millionaires moor their yachts, the enormous seals. It’s also an incredibly beautiful area off-season. Your ride will take you around the pensinsula on the promenade with fantastic views of the ocean.
Mystical Punta tour Your guide will take you through the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Punta del Este, to enjoy the beauty and nature that surrounds the mansions in the area. You’ll ride through quiet leafy neighbourhoods and pine groves, checking out the sumptous residences, many a century old. In contrast to most expensive neighbourhoods in Latin America, these houses have large grounds and almost no fences, illustrating how safe the city is considered. The Mystical Punta tour also takes you to the city’s oldest neighbourhood including the testing ground where Marconi, the inventor of the telegraph who lived in Punta 1910-11, made the first transatlantic radio contact to Europe.
