Further to the success of the Guru’Guay Guide to Montevideo our second guidebook launches later this year, helping readers discover Uruguay’s best beaches, ranches and vineyards. In addition, Guruguay.com continues to grow, with over 172,000 visitors in 2016.
We are recruiting an enthusiastic, motivated and organised intern to join the team. The ideal candidate will have qualifications or experience in digital content marketing and/or marketing communications as well as a keen eye for financial analysis and business planning.
Tasks will include:
- Supporting the next Guru’Guay book launch (scheduled for November 2017)
- Analyse current income streams, shape sales strategy and present a business plan for the next 12-18months
- Liaise with potential new hotels, restaurants and other selected partners that may feature in future articles of Guru’Guay.
This part-time role (20 hours per week, based in Montevideo) will be varied, challenging and rewarding. You will receive a training allowance and the opportunity to be part of the next exciting chapter in Guru’Guay’s continuing success which will involve working closely with the director of Guru’Guay herself as well as a business mentor who you will meet with regularly for coaching and guidance.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, as well as a passion for finding the best that Uruguay has to offer!
